On motion of Hr* Button, seconded by Mr* Lloyd, the Jonlata Paving Company was granted an extension of time on Contract #0121 in Kent County, to September 1st, 1911. Mr. H. A. Paine, Roads Engineer of Caroline County, rendered a bill to the Commission for $400.00, account of superintending construction of Contract #063 in Caroline County. On motion of Mr. Button, seconded by Mr* Shoemaker, payment of this bill was refused. Mr. Hut ton moved that the State Roads Commission purchase from the County Commissioners of Ceoil County a crushing outfit, consisting of roller, crusher and engine, at the prioe of $3500., and that said outfit be transferred to the Maintenance Department .for ite use. The motion was seconded by Mr. Shoemaker, and adopted. The question of furnishing Dorchester and V/oroester Counties with rollers, was, on motion of Mr. Shoemaker, seconded by Mr. Hutton, referred to the Chairman, with power. Ur. Lloyd moved that the several Boards of County Commissioners be notified that hereafter bills for the repair of State Aid Roads will not be approved by the State Roads Commission unless the work has been done under the supervision of the State Roads Commission, and that the Commission shall be notified in advance of any contemplated work, so that an inspector may be placed on same. The motion was seconded by Mr. Hutton, and adopted. On motion of Mr. Shoemaker, seconded by IJr. Hutton, the question of continuing Contract #0111 in HaTbot County, \y. C. Bvans, contractor, was referred to the Chairman and Mr. Lloyd, with power. On motion, duly seconded, all bills, this day approved by the Auditing Committee, were ordered paid: The Bills were as follows: Buffalo Steel Company, do. Stewart tt Company, ................. I. Q.
