Hunter on Contract #0103 in Queen Anne's be paid 1st Batl.Bank of Wash- County, amounting to $5193.83, was ordered paid, as assigned, to ington. Elder of $220. for services of watchman on the Falls Road, Contract #0180, from January 1st to June 3rd, be approved, and that this amount be deducted from the next bill rendered by the United Hallways & Electric Company. Rental of Equipment for repairs Stauffer be rented, to be used in connection with repairs on the on pikes. several pikes in Western Maryland, and that repairs be made at once to the Boonsboro Turnpike, was approved. A petition from the residents in the neighborhood of Gapland, Washington County, was submitted to the Board, asking that the Gapland Turnpike be purchased by the State Roads Commission. Mr. Shoemaker suggested that the Chairman be requested to obtain the necessary information looking to the purchase of this pike, and report at the next meeting. Mr. Button moved that hereafter the average brick rattler test of the State Roads Commission be 22,% on all city work, to oorrespond with the City's specifications.
