Approval of Minutes.
The minutes of the meetings of July 6th and 20th were read, corrected and approved.
Mr. Shoemaker moved that the award of the County Commissioners of Dorchester County of Contract £239, Vienna-Big Mill
Award to Fisher & Oaroeza of   Road, to Messrs. Fisher & Carozza, at the amount of their bid, Contract for Vienna-Big Mill R4f22637.82* *>e approved, provided said bid does not exceed the Engineer's Estimate on this work. The motion was seconded by Mr. Button, and adopted.
On motion of Mr* Shoemaker, seconded by Mr. Lloyd, the
Final Estimate of If. C.Hunter to Final Estimate of H. C. Hunter on Contract #0103 in Queen Anne's be paid 1st Batl.Bank of Wash-  County, amounting to $5193.83, was ordered paid, as assigned, to ington. Pa.	the First National Bank of Washington, Pa., and LI. C. Liggett.
Mr. Button moved that the recommendation of the Chairman as to payment of Win. M. Elder of $220. for services of watchman on the Falls Road, Contract #0180, from January 1st to June 3rd, be approved, and that this amount be deducted from the next bill rendered by the United Hallways & Electric Company.  The motion was seconded by L5r. Shoemaker, and adopted.

On motion of Mr. Shoemaker, seconded by Mr. Button, the Chairman's recommendation that the equipment of Idr» Sam'1 J.
Rental of Equipment for repairs Stauffer be rented, to be used in connection with repairs on the on pikes.	several pikes in Western Maryland, and that repairs be made at
once to the Boonsboro Turnpike, was approved.
A petition from the residents in the neighborhood of Gapland, Washington County, was submitted to the Board, asking that the Gapland Turnpike be purchased by the State Roads Commission. Mr. Shoemaker suggested that the Chairman be requested to obtain the necessary information looking to the purchase of this pike, and report at the next meeting.

Brick Test for City work.
Mr. Button moved that hereafter the average brick rattler test of the State Roads Commission be 22,% on all city work, to oorrespond with the City's specifications. The motion was seconded by Mr. Lloyd, and adopted.
On motion of iir. Button, seconded by Mr. Lloyd, the
Extension of time on Con.#0232. Luten Bridge Company was granted an extension of thirty days for
completion of Contract #0232 in Montgomery County (Rook Creek Bridge).

Extension of time on Oon.#oi04 Junlata Paving Coagoany was granted an extension of time on
tractp#0104 in Queen Anne's County, to October 1st, 1911*
