On motion of Mr* Shoemaker, seconded by Mr. Button, the Chairman was authorized to notify the Hagerstown and Boonsboro Railroad Company that permission would be granted, on application, to extend, its tracks to the Public Square in Boonsboro, Washington County, on conditions satisfactory to the State Roads Commission. On motion of Mr. Shoemaker, seconded by Mr. Button, the question of the removal of the toll-houses on the Emmittsburg Turnpike was referred to the Chairman and Engineer, with power. On motion of Mr. Shoemaker, seconded by Mr. Button, the Chairman was authorized to purchase a stone crushing outfit for the Maintenance Department, to be used on the several turnpikes that have been acquired by the State Roads Commission. On motion of Mr. Button, seconded by Mr. Lloyd, the final estimates on Contracts HOB. 071, Webster Construction Company, and 054, Bolt Construction Company, were ordered paid. On motion of Mr. Button, seconded by Mr. Shoemaker, the question of an outlet for sewer on Liberty Beights Avenue - Liberty Hoad - was referred to the Chairman and Chief Engineer, with power.
