On motion of Dr. Clark, seconded by Mr. Lloyd, it was agreed that the time for completion of this contract be not extended, and if Messrs. Coblentz & Klipp decline to accept the work under the terms of the contract, that it be offered Messrs, i'reoh & Alien at the amount of the lowest "bid.
On motion of Governor Crothors, seconded by !,Ir. Shoemaker, it was R3SOL73D that the 3ngineer be authorised to make a final survey of the work done on Contract #055 in Caroline County, T. J. Barrett, contractor, and that on all work alleged to be completed or nearly completed, the engineer shall make such deductions, if any, as in his judgment would be necessary to place sane in an acceptable condition, and that the Chairman be authorized to pay said Barrett the net amount of said final estimate, less 10>!.
On motion of Ur. Shoemaker, seconded by Governor Crothsrs, it was ordered that work necessary to put Contract #053 in Caroline Count/ into proper shape, be done by the forces of the State Roads Commission.
The Shawraut Paving Company, under date of Hay 15th, 1911, addressed a communication to the Commission, asking that the variation brick test in the specifications of the Commission be modified so that the bricks shipped by them to ?. Flanigan & Sons for use on the Harford Road might be acceptable.  On motion of Dr. Clark, seconded by Dr. Remsen, it was ordered that the Shawmut Company be notified that the State Houds Commission cannot see its way clear to change its specifications.
ilr. Shoemaker moved the request of the County Commissioners of Montgomery County to macadamize 2300 feet of the Blair
Road near Avenel, under the state Aid Law, as contained in a communication from them under date of May llth, be granted, the County to be reimbursed for the State's portion of the expense, when money for this purpose becomes available. The motion was seconded by Governor Crothers, and adopted.
A statement from the County Commissioners of Montgomery County on Contract #0233 from May 1st to 15th, amounting to $713.55, for work done by the County's forces in the absence of the State's inspector, was submitted for consideration to the Board, Dr. Remsen moved that the bill be paid, and the County informed that in the future notice should be sent to the Commission of work to be done, so that the Commission may furnish an inspector.  The motion was seconded by Ivlr. Hutton, and adopted.
