Connolly Co., provided the Chairman oan secure a satisfactory reduction of their bid price. The motion was seconded by Dr. Remsen, and adopted. GARRBTT COUNTY: Road from McHenry to Accident, a distance of about 4.39 miles, Contract #0163: Nelson-Merydith Company, .....$83862.66 Hoblitzell & Price. 95377.50 On motion of Governor Crothers, seconded by Dr. Remsen, the bids of the Nelson-Merydith Company and Hoblitzell & Price on Contract #0163, were rejected, and the work ordered readvertised. Dr« Remsen moved that the bid of Mr. J. £• Francis on the National Pike frim Frostburg to Piney Grove, a distance of about 4.18 miles, be received, in view of the fact there are no other bidders on this section of road.
