Condition award of contract for Hook Crook Bridge to Lixten
Bridge Comp&ny.
A Special Meeting of the State Roads Commission was held at Its offices, Union Trust Building, Baltimore, Maryland, this Thursday, May llth, 1911, at ten o'clock A. M.
Present: Governor Crothers, Chairman Tucker, Dr. Rerasen, Dr. Clark, Messrs. Shoemaker, Button and Lloyd.
The reading of the minutes of the previous meeting of the Board was dispensed with.
The Board proceeded to consider bids received at Noon, May 10th, 1911, for construction of the following:
MONTGOMERY COUNTY: On concrete bridge over Rook Creek, Contract #0232:
J. M. Bandel..................$5117.50
Washington Construction Co.,  4460.00 R. H. Moffitt, Jr............. 3830.00
W. T. & C. P. Thompson,       3500.00 Luten Bridge Company, ........ 2670.00
Governor Orothers moved that the contract for the bridge over Rock Creek be awarded the Luten Bridge Company, provided the Chairman can make satisfactory arrangements with said Company as to the excavation on this work. The motion was seconded by Mr. Button, and adopted.
