On motion of Dr. Clark, seconded by Governor Crothers, the question was referred to the Chairman and Counsel, with power. Mr. Button moved that Section 1 of the Middle Keck Road, Contract if 197, in V/icomioo County, be accepted in accordance with request of the Hoads Engineer of said County, and the State's payment made as soon t.s this section is completed. The motion was seconded by I.lr. Shoemaker, and adopted. On motion of ~r. Shoemalrer, seconded by Governor Crothers, Chairman Tucker was granted authority to renew policies of insurance on two bridges on the Frederick Pike, one of said bridges being located near Middletown and insured by the Mutual Insurance Company of Frederick County, and the other at Sllicott City.- for which a policy of the German Fire Insurance Company is held. Counsel to the Commission stated that title to the Bel Air Turnpike Company in Harford County had been examined and found free from encumbrances with the exception of a deed from the Company to the Bel Air Electric Company. Dr. SOMEen moved that the Bel nir Turnpike Company be notified that the State Hoads Commission must treat this deed as an encumbrance and that sane must be cancelled before the transaction can be carried out. The motion was seconded by Governor Crothers, and adopted. The Counsel presented for execution an agreement in duplicate between the State P.oads Commission and John A» Graham for rijht-of-way on Valley View Avenue through the property of -r. Graham on the Belair Soad. On motion, duly seconded, these agreements were accepted and signed by the members of the Board. Dr. Clark moved that all bills, this day approved by the Auditing Committee, be paid. The motion was seconded by Mr. Hutton, and adopted.
