Garrison Avenue, was read by the Chairman. Mr. Shoemaker suggested that Mr. Tucker reply to said communication, stating that as soon as weather conditions will permit work to be done on Hosyln Avenue the Commission can go back and work on Garrison Avenue und save that amount of money. The County Commissioners of Dorchester County submitted a statement shoeing thereon items for demurrage, etc., heretofore not allowed by the Commiusion, amounting to $20.00, as also interest charges paid on money borrowed by them to carry on road work, amounting to vlQ3ğ89ğ and requested the Coimnis-r.ion to act favorably on said bill. I.ir. Shoer&ker suggested that the County Cor.imiEtioners be written that if the items amounting to $20.00 are found to be correct, they will be paid, but unless some good reason can be given -vhy the interest charges should be paid, the Commission must decline to consider them. The County Commissioners of Dorchester County also asked to be reimbursed by the Cor/mdssion for bill of $129.45, amount paid by them to the Baltimore, Chesapeake & Atlantic Railway Company for repairing damage to Oyster Shell Point t7harf caused by teams of the County Cortmia si oners hauling shells and stone over sa; e. The Chairman was requested to ascertain fror. the County Commissioners whether or not wharfage is charged by said Company, at this point, and if this bill is found to be a proper charge, that sane be paid.
