Road from Shipley towards Harmons Station authorized constructed. The regular semi-monthly mooting of the State Hoods Commission was held at its offices, Union Trust Building, 13alti7nore, Lid., this Thursday, February 16th, lull, at 10:50 A. I.I. Present: Governor Grothers, Chairnun Tucker, Dr« Hemsen, Dr. Clark, Messrs. Shoemaker and Hutton. The minutes of the last meeting of the Commission were read, corrected and approved. Dr. Herasen moved the adoption of the resolution of the County Commissioners of Lion t gome i-y County, offered at a previous mooting of the Commission in its entirety, vis: "R3SOL73D, ^hat the County Commie sicmors of Montgomery County are authorized and requested, while continuing work on the Darnes-town Section, to take up on the sane general terms and conditions the following new work: 1. Grading and completing road froa llorbock to Rockville. 2. Grading and cross draining from Gait hers "burg to Hondor-son's Corner and Cedar Grove, including grading west of Seneca Bridge if the County relocates road at that point. 3« To commence on macadam work at any available point or points between Gaithersburg and Cedar Grovo. That Llr. Hutton of tnis board is authorized and requested to continue and complete the road between Rockville and Gaithersburg and on the same general terms and conditions governing the road there already constructed by him. That tho Chairman of the Bourd be, and ,-.e is hereby authorized to approve emergency' purchases requested by the Superintendent of Roads of Llontgomery County, or by .Mr. H.itton, that cannot be conveniently passed on by this Board, That an additional unit of Road Building i.-uchinei-y for 'Montgomery County is authorized to bo purchased, including one engine, two rollers, tv/o v;ater wagons, scales and accessories"; provided that the report of the Chief Engineer on the work already done in said County slurbs that the cost of same has not been excessive. The motion was seconded by Governor Crothers, and ndooted. itlr, Hutton moved that the County Cotarais si oners of j'jine j.rundel County be granted authority to construct 1^- miles of State Aid Road in said County from Shipley towards Harmon's Station. The motion was seconded by Mr. Shoemaker, and adopted, A communication from the Liayor, relative to the improvement of Eosyln Avenue for the accommodation of traffic diverted from
