Motion to .'.id jo urn < Adjournment. that the 'Jor.Kd.BBion follow the custom of the city, and whenever the services of an inspector of the Commiteion are required in connection with work of the Gas Company, that a special charge be made to the Company for such services. The motion was seconded by j.r. Clark, and adopted. Senator Linthicum appeared before the Board regarding a Special Act of the General Assembly of 1908, entitled the "Pumphrey Grade Crossing Commission", which provided for an undergrade crossing under the Short Line and B. V/. & A- Railways at Punphrey's Station on the Annapolis Road. Governor Crothers suggested that this matter be referred to the Counsel of the Commission. Senator Linthicum also requested the Commission to consider the construction of the section of the Annapolis Boulevard from the English Counsul's Residence to the Patapsco River. I.lr. Shoemaker stated that he had received a communication from ...r. JOB. Y.. Hunter, State llighTrays Commissioner of the State of ?ennsylvania, in which he expressed a desire to have the State Roads Commission of Laryland participate in the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the construction of the Cumberland Pike. It v£is the sense of the Board that Mr. Shoe-nv.'ker be authorized to r/rite Lar. Hunter that as the General Assembly is not in session no special appropriation can be had, but the Governor and members of the 'Commission have expressed their desire to co-operate in the celebration.
