On notion of Governor rrothers, seconded "by i/r. Shoemaker, a survey of this section of r«cid v/as authorized.
Survey of two miles of Old Oourt Kd. ordered.
An application from the County commissioners of Baltimore County for the construction of about two miles of the Old court Road running east from Quarry r.ane was submitted to the r-ommission, and on motion of governor brothers, seconded by "r. Kutton, a survey of this section of road v/ae authorized.
Increase in salaries of following employees of engineering dept:
Employment of supervisors on Frederick Pike.
The Chairman and ^r. shoemaker comprising Committee appointed to examine and consider the recommendations of the ^hief Engineer as to increase in salaries of employees of the -Engineering Do;artment, reported for favorable action as follows:
Guy C. Sykes, promoted to the position of instrumentman, vice 'Tarthen, resigned, at a salary of $50.00 per month, October 15th.
Thomas Gaffney promoted to rodman at a salary of $40.00 per month, to date from November 1st.
Henry Andrews promoted from office "boy to blue print boy at a salary of $5.00 per week, to date from November 1st.
Win. wobins transferred from the chief Engineer's office to the drafting division as boy, at $5.00 per week, to date from November 21st.
J. 'r?. Koenig employed temporarily in the maintenance division as inspector at $60.00 per month, to date from November 3rd.
"q. ~. Stevens employed temporarily in the maintenance division as inspector from November 2nd to November 12th, inclusive, at $60.00 per month.
Julius Zieget, maintenance inspector, at $75.00 per month, to date from October 1st.
