Chairman Tucker stated that the United Railways and Electric Company was desirous of entering into a working agr33-mant with the Commission regarding tho Harford Road in Baltimore County; that cornmunicati ons had also b33n received from said Company relative to the purchase of iron poles and as to several bills in dispute. On motion of "nr. ciark, duly seconded and adopted, these matters ware referred to I/r. Shoemaker for submission to yr. "Rurst. On motion of Mr. shoemaker, seconded by "nr. Remsen, Chairman Tucker's action in offering $3,000.00 for all right, title and interest of the Balair Turnpike Company in and to the bed of the Bolair Turnpike batwaan its terminus in or near the town of Belair in Harford County and its southernmost terminus at or near the twentieth milestone from "Baltimore City, including the iron bridge ovar Winter's Run, was ratified and approved. A communication from Mr. A. C. Smith of Pittsburg, pa., under data of January 13th, 1911, was read to tha Board, regarding damages incurred on account of accident on the >Tational Pike near Frostburg. Dr. Clark moved that this mat tar be referred to the Counsel of the Commission. The motion was seconded by governor Crothars, and adopted. Chairman stated that the Consolidated Gas Company had requested the privilege of layinr 3348 faet of 12" gas main on the ?rad3rick Road. On notion of Dr. Clark, seconded by Governor Crothers, this question was referred to the Chairman, Counsel and Chief Enginaer '.vith authority to act. :rr. Shoemaker moved that the bill of T)r. j. McP. Scott, amounting to $72. 7o for automobile hire on account of supervision of work on Contract #0210, be paid, and that T»r. Scott be notified that the commission will not hereafter allow any charges for automobile hira unless special arrangements are made with the Commission for this expanse.
