The motion was seconded by Mr. Shoemaker, and adopted. The Chief Engineer presented an approximate estimate of the cost of relocating bridra at ^Ikton, Contract #044, amounting to $9,399.00. It was suggested that the Chairman communicate with the Board of Trade of JBlkton, naming the amount of this estimate and stating that the Commission does not think it would be wise to make this change in the location of the bridge. The Chairman read a communication from the Chief Engineer Employment of flagmen and watch- regarding the employment by the United Railways & Electric Company men by U.Rv/ye. Jo .-JontraotOE54. of flagmen and watclimen on Contract #0254. Dr. Clark moved that this question be referred to the Chairman and Chief Engineer. The motion was seconded by T. Pemsen, and adopted. The Chairman read a communication from ?rr. v. -n. Knight, Condemnation of road material Road Superintendent of Montgomery County, in reference to condemning on Contract £0231. road building material for use in the construction of Contract #0231. On motion of Dr. Pemsen, seconded by Governor Crothers, this matter was referred to th<3 Chairman and Mr. Hut ton for adjustment. Approved bills ordered paid, List of bills.
