Opening of bids. !'r. \Vm. >r. ^Ider, contractor on the -palls ^oad, apyeared before the "onmission, requesting that an estimate on all brick delivered for use on his contract be allowed. ?'r. shoenuker moved that the Chief engineer be authorized to allow the contractor an estimate on the brick for the "Palls ^oad paving, with the provisiun that the Contractor be entirely responsible for the brick, as v/Jll as for the location of sara ard any damage that may occur. The notion was seconded by ?*r. irutton, and adopted. On notion of }*r. "shoemaker, seconded by "r. "utton, it was agreed that the matter of ths improvement of thj section of road in Anne Arundel bounty from the end of the Tooklyn -"ridge about 1600 feet, be referred to the Attorney funeral for an opinion as to the rights of trie United Railways & Electric Company upon this section of high-.vay. The motion was adopted. The Chairman brourht to the attention of the 7oard the question of improving about 150 .foot of road frcm tho town limits of Dent-on to the intersection of tho StatJ Road running towards "'ederals-burgh. On motion of :.'r. Hutton, seconded by r'r. Shoemaker, it was agreed that action on this matter be deferred until the pio'ce of road now in course of construction by thu County, is completed. The motion was adopted. The Commission proceeded to take up the bids opened on the 30th of September, 1910; ^> Severn River Edge.-Arnold Sta. road to be awarded F. M. Duvall. Delaware Cross Rds.-Chesapeake City contract awarded S. S. Andrews.
