Comrn're of V/icomico County authorized to resume work on Kiddle Keck and Meadow Bnch.Rd Resolution regarding type of bridge over Herring Run on the Karford P.oad . Grade of Road approaching Faulkner's Bridge. The Regular Semi-monthly Meeting of the state Roads Commission was held at its offices, Union Trust Building, Baltimore, Md., this Thursday, September 1st, 1910, at eleven o'clock A. "". Prasont; Governor Crothers, Chairman Tucker, Messrs. Shotjnak^r and Hut ton. The minutes of the previous meeting of the commission were not read. The County Commissioners of Talbot county appeared before the Boaxd in reference to the work on the Dover "Bridge section of State Aid Road, about 1-1/10 miles in length, connecting Talbot and Caroline Counties, torethjr with bridge across the "hoptank River, and requested that ths contractors be instructed to proceed as speedily as possible to complete the contract, including the bridge, according to the original specifications and contract ; and also asked the commission to have the contractors complete at once the section of macadam on the Talbot side to a point as near tha bridge as practicable. On motion of Mr. Shoemaker, seconded by >|rr, Hutton, the County Commissioners of wicomico County v^ere authorized to resume work on the "iddle 1Teck and "aadow •*» ranch State Aid Roads (Contract TTos. 197 and 191). The motion was adopted. The matter of type of bridge to be constructed over the Herring Run on the Harford Road was discussed, and >rr. Shoemaker offered the following resolution in regard thereto: "WHEREAS, a representative of the Kahn Bridge company has requested an opportunity to bid on the warford Road bridge over Herring Run, and the Luten Bridge company has requested an apportunity to revise its bid on said bridre, BE IT RBSOLVTO, that Warren Bros. Company.be requested to furnish the commission with prices for the rahn bridge and for the bridge according to revised plans of the r,uten Company, which plane in "both cases shall have the approval of the city authorities and conform to the general design of the bridge contemplated to be constructed over werring Run under Contract No. 0255. The resolution was unanimously adopted. The County CommisBioners and senator Goslin of Caroline County, appeared before the Commission in an effort to have the grade of the State Road approaching Faulkner's -oridge changed no a» to conform with the bridge ; and alao asked for a construction pn
