The Chairman read a communication from Dr.   .T. "'cPherson Scott  of Washington County,   regarding the payment  of not  less than half a day for m-jn and  teams used on  section  of road through Clear-spring.
Governor Crothers moved  that r>r.   Scott be notified that   the State Roads Commission  cannot  see  its way clear  to  grant his request, since the  CoTnmission  is requiring man  and  teams in  othor counties to  he paid for actual   time  only.     The motion was seconded "by >!rr. Shoemaker,   and adopted.

Mr.   Shoemaker moved that   this request be  frranted free of all  charts,   freight  and expresaafre   on material,   etc.,   to  "be paid for by  th-3 City Officials of  Annapolis.     The motion was  seconded by Governor  Crcth^rs,   and adopted.
On motion of L'r.  Hutton,   seconded by ?'r.   shoemaker,   the Chairman was authorized to have  the   section of road from Rockvtlle to Jlorback advertised for  p-rading,   draining and bridging,   if,   upon looking into  the matter,   it ra^ots with  his approval.     The motion was adopted.
On motion of T.'r.   Shoemaker,   seconded by >cr.  Hutton,   the Chairman was authorized to  sign  permit  of  the  pusquehanna Transmission Company to  cross with   its wiras and cables the Harford, B-Jlair and Philadelphia "Roads,according to   terras and provisions contained in said permit.     The motion was adopted.
J?r.  Hutton moved that Miss 7C.  T. ^cf-ready "be employed as typev/ritar and  stenographer to   tho  Cornmiesion,   at  a salary of Sixty Dollars per month.     The motion was  seconded by Mr.   Shoemaker, and adopted.
Mr.   Shoemaker moved that  all bills,   this day approved by th3  Auditing Committaa,   ba paid.     The motion was  duly seconded,
