The Regular Semi-monthly mooting  of  the  state Roads Cora-mission was held at  its offices,   Union Trust "Ruildinr,  "Baltimore, ?Td.,   this Thursday,   August  18th,   1S10,   at  11 o'clock  A.  ".
Present:     Governor brothers,   Chairman  Tucker,  •"'asere. Shoamaker and Hutton.

The mutter of a daed transferring the ^radarick pike,   from Jefferson City  to  Frederick,   to   the  Statejfeads commission was considered.
On motion of Governor  brothers,   seconded by VT.   Shoemaker, Chairman Tucker was  authorized,   when   the deeds to   said ^rsdsrick City and Jaf ferson Turnpike Road ha.v-3 bo -n paeaad upon bv   Counsel for  the* Stata  Roads Oorrmisaion and properly  executed,   to  pay the money agraad by this Board to  be  paid (total amount "being £9980.00) to  said Turnpike Company,   and close the   tanaaction.     Tha motion was adopted.
A report as  to  the  construction of a railroad on  the Baltimore and Washington boulevard "by the  ^ashin^ton,   Spa Springs & Gratta Railroad Company was mada   to  th-3 ""card by the  Second Assistant Snp^ineer,   aho-dng that   said Company had not  complied with approved plan of  this  work.     It was apread that the  following communication be  sent   said Railroad Company:

Soms woaks ago, in ordar to prevent dalay, at your request wa ontarad into a mamorandum apraomant, intandad to be followed "by formal arraenant with your Company. We afterwards sant you a draft of this form of agreamant, and have heard nothing further from you.
The mothod of your construction is entirely at variance with tha panait which you obtained from our Commission, and you are hereby notified, unless tha matter is definitely and satisfactorily settled not latar than T^onday, we will take legal action in tha
Tha  Chairman  read a communication from the  County Commissioners of Anns  Arundol  County,   ralativa  to  a charge  of  $22.80 for terra cotta pipe used on Stata Highway near ?riendship.
Governor Croth'jrs moved that  the  Chairman   communicate with the  County Commissioners of  Anna  Arundal  County to   the  effect   that the Stata Roads Commission has no  information that  would justify it in paying for this pipe.    Tha motion was seconded "by Mr.  Hutton,  and adopted.
A communication from tha ITonroe Paving Company,   asking to be released from their contract on tha Liberty Road batwean Walbrook Junction and the City Limits,  was presented to the "noard.
On motion of Governor Crothars,   it was agrsed,   that upon
