The Chairman read a latter from ?fr. >T. w. janes, president of the TT. V. .Tames Lumbar Company, of "Baltimore, stating that the Directors of the "Baltimore & "Frederick Turnpike Company refused to entertain his proposition of $90,000. and asked $150,000. for the turnpike, which is about sixty-two miles in length. Mr. Shoemaker moved that the Counsel be authorized to proceed at once to condemn the Pike. The motion was duly seconded by governor Crothers and adopted. The Chairman submitted a communication from the Rickey-Swann Company, of Trenton, ^Tew Jersey, asking for an extension of time on the State Road work in Charles County, Contract #0150. Governor Crothers moved that the extension of time be granted the Rickey-Swann Company to September 15th, 1910, as recommended by the Chief "*
