Estimated Ooet of State Roads in Baltimore County A Special TTaeting of the State Roads commission was held at its offices, Union Trust "Ruildinp;, "Baltimore, Fd., this Tuesday, July 19th, 1910, at 10:15 A. w. Present: Governor nroth^rs, Chairman Tucker, yessrs. Shoemaker and Hutton. The minutes of the previous meeting of the Commission ware not read. The Chairman called the attention of the ronnniesion to the question of the Post Road in Harford County, which is a State Aid Road, and submitted tha following estimates:- Spencer & Porsythe, ..........$32,906.07 J. T'. Martin, 29,674.60 Engineer, .................... 33,253.28 T'r. Shoemaker moved that Contract ^200 for improving the aforesaid road "between Havre-de-^-raca and Aberdeen, awarded to J. •". ?rartir. at $29,674.60, be approved by the State Roads Commission, with the understanding that no demands shall be made upon the State for any payments on account of same until there shall be available funds from the Treasury under the state Aid T,aw for Harford County. Governor Crothers seconded the motion, which wae adopted. Mr. Shoemaker submitted a communication from the ^-reenspring Land Company, signed individually by irr. George >'. Shriver, for the improvement of a section of road in "Baltimore County. The Chairman referred to the reports of the Geological Survey which show the allotment of State Aid funds in "Baltimore County and the work outstanding for the current year. The estimated cost of the roads are as follows:- Park Heights Avenue, ............ Palls Road (Section 2), Palls Road (Section 4), ......... "Eastern Avenue, Total, .......... State's portion, 1/2 of same, or 65,0^0.^0 55, 571.38 9,731.18 40,000.00 ' The allotment to Baltimore County, Oct.1,'09, J Final allotment, April 1, '10, Payments made to July 1, ....................
