A Special Meeting of the State Roads commission was held at its offices, Union Trust Building, Baltimore, Md., this Wednesday, July 6th, 1910, for the purpose of receiving bids for building six sections of State Highway, aggregating 19 and 33/100 miles, in the following counties:
ALLEGANY: On the National Pike between Standard Oil Warehouse and the Pennsylvania Railroad Crossing, in one section, a distance of about 0.53 miles, and on the National Pike between Six-Mile House and Allegany Grove, in one section, a distance of about 1.02 miles.
CARROLL:  On the road between Eldersburg and Gamber, in one section, a distance of about 5 miles.
GARRETT: On the National pike in Garrett county, from the Allegany County Line towards Piney Grove, in one section, a distance of about 2.38 miles,
PRINCE GEORGE'S:  On the Marlboro Pike, from the -District of Columbia Line, in one section, a distance of 5.2o miles to Meadows, including the repairs to the existing stone macadam road of about 6900 feet.
ST. MARY'S:  On the Median icsville-Leonardtown Road, from Hellen towards Leonardtown, in one section, a distance of about 5.20 miles:

Mr.   Shoemaker moved that all the foregoing bids be referred to the Chairman and Chief "Engineer for tabulation. Mr.  Hut ton seconded the motion,  which was adopted.
