Awarding of Contract #176 reĢ ferrad to Chairman & Chief Engineer. A Special Meeting of the State Roads Commission was held at its offices, Union Trust Building, Baltimore, Maryland, this Saturday, June llth, 1910. Present: Governor Crothers, Chairman Tucker, Messrs. Remsen, Shoemaker, Hut ton and Clark. The reading of the minutes of the last meeting of the Commission was dispensed with. Governor crothers moved that Mr. E. B. Gosiin bs elected to succeed Mr. J. C. Bowerman, resigned, as Secretary to the Commission, at a salary of $1800. per annum. Mr. Eutton seconded the motion, which was adopted. Dr. Remsen moved that Mr. Carvilie D. Benson be elected Counsel to the commission, at a salary of $2000. per amum, for a term of one year. The motion was duly seconded and carried. On motion of DT, Clark, duly seconded and carried, it was agreed that \he question of the letting of Contract #176 in Allagany county, be left with the Chairman and Chief ttginee* for adjustment.
