Dr. Clark mored that the Chestertown Road in Kent County, and the Easton-lye Mills Road In Talbot county be treated with Texas Oil, said Chestertown Road, comprising three miles to be done at an approximate cost of Five Hundred Dollars ; and that the Hurlock-Federaleburg Road be treated with Standard Oil Mr. • Shoemaker seconded the motion, which was adopted. The Chairman read an application from the Consolidated Qas, Electric Light & Power Company of Baltimore City to lay service pipea on Park Heights Avenue. Dr. Clark moved that this application be referred to the County Commissioners of Baltimore county for such action as they deem beet in granting this permit, and that their action would be approved by the State Roads Commission. Mr. Shoemaker seconded the motion, which was adopted. The Chairman stated that Attorney-General Straus had recommended that Mr. D. V. Ault, Contractor on the Harford Road from the City Limits to Taylor Avenue, be advised to proceed with his work on this contract from Hamilton to Taylor Avenue, and await further advices from the commission respecting the work ; that Mr. Ault be also advised to carry out his contract on the Westport Road, exclusive of about two thousand feet upon which tracks of the United Railways Company exist ; that Mr, 1m. M. Elder, contractor on the Falls Road from the City Limits to Mt. Washington, be requested to push the completion of the macadam section of this road and the vitrified brick sections be deferred until further notice ; Mr. P. ?. Reddington, contractor on the Falls Road from Third Avenue to City Limits, be advised to cloee down his work until further notice. Dr. Clark moved that the Chairman of the State Roads Commission be authorized to sign certificate to be sent to the Comptroller for the payment of one-half the cost of the Meadow Branch Road in Wicomico County, which has just been completed under the Stats Aided Law.
