Mr.   Thoznae H.  Robinson appeared "before the ^oard to  ask for an appropriation out  of the ^arford County funds,   to "bo used in building a mile  or road through the  town  of "Pel  Air,   said mile to be  the  connectinr link between  two   sections of road when improved.     The Chairman  requested Mr.  Bobinson  to   submit  hie proposition in writing to  tha  Commission,   and that  same would be given due  consideration.
It was moved,   seconded and carried,   that  the bid of f?. !'.   ^rech en road  in Talbot  County,   betwean  Skipton  and ^ye Mills, a distance  of about 3.49 miles,   (stone macadam),   be  rejected.
Chairman  Tucker  stated that he had conferred with the Rick-jy-Swann  Company as  to   a reduction on   their bid prices and had  obtained  the   following:     On  excavation,   from 54/ to  50/ ; borrow,   from 50/ to 44/ ;     concrete r.asonry,   from $'J.OO to $8.60   ;     rravel  surfacing,   class  "A",   from 50/ to  46/ ;     class "^",   from 65/ to  50ff ;     pine piling,   from 80/ to  50/,  making  a total  of $44,077.54 for  about   6.27 miles.
**r.   Shoemaker moved  that   the  contract   in  Charles  County between White Plains  and prince  "-eor^e's  County r.ine,   a distance of about  G  ayid  27/100 mil^s,   be  awarded the Pickey-Swann  Company at their amended bid price.     Mr.  Hutton  seconded the motion,   which was adopted.

Reduction of Bid pricas of Juniata Paving Company on Contract ^0104.
On  the bid of '-.  ^.   fonder  on road in Oueen  Anne's County,   the Chairman reported that  he had obtained a reduction on  excavation  from 40^ to  42/,   and on borrow from 45/ to  42/, making a  total bid price  of $47,669.50.
"Hr.   Clark moved  that   the   contract   in Oueen   Anne's  county from Church Hill  towards Chestertown,   a distance   cf  about  3.50 miles be awarded Mr.  P.  T>.   "-onder at  his amended bid price,     f'r. Shoemaker  seconded the motion,   vvhich  was adopted.
The  Chairman  stated that  the Juniata Paving  Company \vas willing to   reduce  its bid price on excavation and borrow from 52/ to  4i>/,   and name  $8.5n as arnondad price for cement masonry,   on contract  in  Queen  Anne's County,   provided the  time for  completion of  said contract  be extended from September 1st  to TTovember 1st.
