Robinson appeared "before the ^oard to ask for an appropriation out of the ^arford County funds, to "bo used in building a mile or road through the town of "Pel Air, said mile to be the connectinr link between two sections of road when improved. The Chairman requested Mr. Bobinson to submit hie proposition in writing to tha Commission, and that same would be given due consideration. It was moved, seconded and carried, that the bid of f?. !'. ^rech en road in Talbot County, betwean Skipton and ^ye Mills, a distance of about 3.49 miles, (stone macadam), be rejected. Chairman Tucker stated that he had conferred with the Rick-jy-Swann Company as to a reduction on their bid prices and had obtained the following: On excavation, from 54/ to 50/ ; borrow, from 50/ to 44/ ; concrete r.asonry, from $'J.OO to $8.60 ; rravel surfacing, class "A", from 50/ to 46/ ; class "^", from 65/ to 50ff ; pine piling, from 80/ to 50/, making a total of $44,077.54 for about 6.27 miles. **r.
