Motion to adj ourn, Adj ournwent. A letter from Mr. Wnu M. Elder was read, stating that owing to changes in his plans for the Falls Road contract, he had been subjected to a loss, Mr. Crosby suggested that Mr. Elder put in an itemized bill covering his claim, which would be referred to the Chief Engineer for report, after which he would be allowed any sum to which, in the opinion of the Commission, he is entitled. Mr. Button moved that Mr. Wm. M. Elder be requested to file his bill for extras claimed. The motion was duly seconded and adopted. The Chairman read a communication from the County Commiaaioners of Worcester County, stating that the Charles Warner Company had ra'ised the price of lime stone from fifty to fifty-five cents per ton, and that the Schuylkill Stone Company had offered them trap rock at fifty cents per ton. Mr. Shoemaker i&oved that the County Comrciasionera of Worcester County be authorized to purchase stone needed from the Schuylkill Stone Company at 50 cents per ton, instead of from the Chas. Warner Company at 55 cents per ton. Governor Crothers seconded the motion, which waa adopted. Governor Crothere moved that the Commission draw its warrant on the Comptroller of the Treasury to the order of J. M. Tucker, Chairman, for One Hundred Thousand Dollars, to be deposited in the Merchants National Bank of Baltimore, to meet the expenses of road work. Mr. Button seconded the motion, which waa adopted. On motion of Dr. Remaen, duly seconded, the Commission adjourned to meet at its offices, Union Trust Building, Baltimore, Md., on Saturday, May 21at, 1910, at ten o'clock A. M.
