On motion of Mr. Shoemaker, seconded by Governor Crothers, it was ordered that a deed to the Liberty Road from North Avenue to the City Line, be accepted, as soon as the title is approved by the City Authorities. On motion of Mr. Shoemaker, seconded by Mr* Button, it was ordered, on the recommendation of the counsel to the Commission, that the payments on the Contract No. 0141 in Allegany County of Hootman Brothers, be paid to the U. S. Fidelity & Guaranty Company, surety on the bond of Hootaan Brothers. On motion of Mr. Shoemaker, seconded by Governor Crothers, it was ordered that R. W, Messenger, Contractor on State Road work in Caroline County, be instructed to make the repairs to the road under his contract No. 052, in compliance with his agreement, as recommended by the Chief Engineer in his letter to the Commission, under date of May 12th, 1910. Mr. Shoemaker moved that the appointment of the following persona, as recommended by the Chief Engineer, be approved. The motion was duly seconded by Mr. Button, and adopted. L. Moore transferred from the M. G. S. on April 18th, and assigned to Talbot County, Contract #0111. P. R. Harrieon, appointed inspector in Allegany County, May 2nd, Contract #0141. W. M. Pattison was transferred from the M. G. S. May 3rd, and assigned to Caroline County, Contract #050 and #051. L. W. Wilson, assigned to Prince George's County, May 5th, Contract #0131. R. T. Davis assigned to Allegany County, May 9th, Contract #0145. S. R. Brewer, assigned to Dorcheeter County May 9th, Contract #071. L. P. Mayes, appointed Inspector May 9th, to be assigned shortly. B. C. Green, Inspector in Allegany County, Contract #0141, quit without notice May 3rd. Mr. Shoemaker mored that K. M.
