A special meeting of f'-a   State poads  Commission was hold  this Friday,   April  2ythf   IvlO,   at  its offices,   Union Trust "Ruildinp;,   ^.altimory,   I'd.,   at  11   o'clock   A.   ?T.
Present:     Ouv^rnor  Croth-ars,   Chairman Tucker,  Messrs. ^.amsJn,   Shoomak-^r,   Hut ton and Clark.
The minutes  of the  prarious  Meeting of tha  Commission ware   rtfad and   approved.
A  delegation  from Worcester  County,   of which "r..   V.   f. King,   of pocomoke   City,   was  spokesman,   conferrad with tha Com-nriBsiun ae   to  the "building of a Stata '"oad  in  said   County com-nancinp;  at   Pocomoke   City   and running  towards  Snow T'ill.     A letter v/as  read from Kon.   John Walter  Smith,   n.   c;>   senator, favoring   the   pro j act.
The   Commission docided that  the   Chairman   should  com-raunicaty   -.vi th  tha  repr esantativas  from Worcester  County   to   tha affect  that   it  had "ba en advised "by tha en^ineerinR  department that  it  is  hardly likely plans  and  apecifi cations   for  tha   construction  of a section  <.<f road batwaan Pocomoke  City  and  Snow Kill "before  tha middle   of June,   and   in vi a\v of  tha  fact  that  the County Commissioners  of Worcester  County  ara *iow ansrarad  in  constructing a  saction  of 12 miles  of road hatv/een  Snow Hill and Berlin,   it  would seam wise  if  any additional work Is   done   in said County   this year,   it should  toe  dona by contract,   and r«quett' ing  that  tha  Commission be advised as   to  the wishes  of tha  people,
