A Special 1'eeting of the -State Roads Commission was held this Friday, October let, 1909, at its offices, Union Trust Building, Baltimore, Kd. , at 10:30 o'clock A. Iff. Present: Governor brothers, Chairman Tucker, Dr. Remsen and Dr. Clark ; Mr. Hutton and Mr. Shoemaker were absent. The reading of the minutes of the previous meeting of the Coinmisaion was dispensed with. On notion of Dr. Remsen, it was GREW^ by this Commission that the conatruction of the three miles of road in Somerset County, beginning at Princess Anne and running southerly in the direction of Crisfieid, be started at once, and that the building of the road, subject to the direction and control of this Commission, be placed in the Board of County Commissioners of Somerset County ; all bills to "be passed upon and paid by this commission. Governor Crothers seconded the motion, which was adopted, subject to approval of the two absent members thereto.
