Shoemaker moved that the action of the Chairman in advertising three miles of road in St. Mary's County from Leonardtown north tov/ards "echanicsville, be approved. The motion v.ras seconded by Governor Crothers and adopted. Mr. Shoemaker moved that the County Commissioners of Caroline County "be authorized to construct four miles of State Road in said County, beginning at the end cf the present contract of the Juniata Pavinr Company, two miles south from Denton and running towards Bureau, provided they commence t?ie work by the 1st of September. The motion was seconded by Kr. Hutton, and adopted. The Chairman presented a list of bills, approved by the Auditing Committee, amounting to $8,706.45, and on motion of ^r.
