Attest: Chairman. Baltimore, yd., August 17, 1909. Fifty-fifth Meeting. Reading and Aiproval of Minutes. Present. Extension of time on contract of r.cCormick & '"o. in St. Gary's County. Taking up of Bids, A Special meeting of the State Roads Coinmisaion was held this Tuesday, August 17, 1909, at its offices, Union Trust Building, Baltimore, Md., at 10 o'clock A. TT. The meeting was called to order by the chairman. The minutes of the previous meeting of the commission were read and approved. Present: Governor Crothers, Chairman Tucker, and L'essrs. Hut ton and Shoemaker. Mr. "cCormick, of I'cOormick & Company, Philadelphia, Pa., appeared before the Comnission with a request that the Commission communicate with his bondsmen, the National Surety Company, granting an extension of time on his contract in St. Mary's County, in which to complete the work. On motion of Mr. Shoemaker, seconded by Governor Crothers, it was ordered that a letter be sent to the National Surety company, in accordance with the request of McCormick & Company. The Commission proceeded to take up the bida as opened on August 16th, 1909, as follows: |
