RrJA Page 106. Presentation of Mils. Mils. are now made for roads, requesting the Steel Company to hold the steel ready for immediate shipment in the other counties until required by the Contractors. The motion was seconded by Mr. Shoemaker, and adopted. The Chairman presented certain bill* which were approved by the Auditing Committee, and on motion of Governor Crothers, seconded by Mr. Hutton, the bills were approved for payment. Mr. Hutton moved that the balance of the bill of the Automobile Company for the hire of an automobile on the Boston trip, be paid. Governor Crothers seconded the motion, which was adopted. The Chief Engineer recommended an increase in the salary of Mr. J. K. McGrath from $60.00 to $75.00 per month, to date from August 1st, 1909. The matter went over until the next meeting of the Commission. Mr. Shoemaker moved that the Taneytown Pike be accepted by this Commission on the terms offered by the Taneytown citizens, and that the !Engineer be instructed to make the necessary surveys and prepare the plans and specifications for the improvement of the road at the earliest possible date. The motion was seconded by Mr. Hutton, and adopted. Messrs. Lutgerding, Oeorge and others, representing the Liberty Road interests appeared before the Conmis-
