Mr. Shoemaker moved that vacations of one month for each the First and Second Engineers, and two weeks for other employees of one year or more, be allowed each year. The potion was duly seconded and carried. On Motion duly seconded and carried the salaries of C. T, Kimble and J. X. McGrath were increaaed from $50.00 to $60.00 per month. The Chief Engineer brought to the attention of the Comnis- # * aion the matter of furnishing tabulated information to contractor*, and on Motion, duly seconded and carried, the matter was referred to the Chairman and Engineer with power to act. Mr. Shoemaker moved that the pay of Inspectors be $75.00 per month. The Motion was seconded and adopted. On Motion duly seconded, Robert H. Renehaw, Jr. was employed as inspector. Motion adopted. It was mdved, seconded and carried that V. W. Power, Jr., H. D. Yilliar, jr. and Clayton Butler be confirmed as inspectors. Dr. Remsen reported that the committee appointed to consider the employment of a bookkeeper, had for various reasons been prevented from meeting, and he desired simply to report progress. , Dr. Clark stated that he wanted to register his vote in favor of the recommendation of the Auditing Committee as to the employment of a bookkeeper. The Chief Engineer reported that the time of the First Assistant Engineer expired on July 1st, 1909, and Mr. Shoemaker moved the re-election of Mr, E. y. Ruggles as First Assistant Engineer, yhere was no second to this motion* Mr, Button moved that Mr. B. F. Ruggles be continued as
