A Special meeting of the State Roads Commission was held this Wednesday, June 30th, 1909, at the Offices of the Commission, Union Trust Building, Baltimore, Md., at 12 o'clock Noon, Present: Governor Crothers, Chairman Tucker, Messrs. Hutton and Shoemaker. The reading of the Minutes of the previous meeting of the Commission was dispensed with. At the hour of 12 o'clock Noon, the Commission proceeded to open bids for the Construction of Ten sections of State Highway, aggregating about 36 miles, as follows: ALLEGANY COUNTY: One Mile west from Froatburg to the Oarrett County Line, and beginning 1000 feet east of Frostburg and running about One Mile to Eckhart Mines, Two Miles: Rudolph & Means, Windber, pa., $21,709.26 N.
