Hunter Sykes, $102.40, survey parties expenses in Montgomery County, and a bill of $43.57 for expenses of the Chairman, Mr. Mutton and an Engineer, inspecting roads in Allegany County and Garrett County. Dr. Clark moved that the bills be ordered paid. Mr. Shoemaker seconded the motion, which was adopted. Dr. Clark moved to adjourn to meet Tuesday, June 1st. 1909, at 10 o'clock A.M. Adoption of Preambles and Resolutions• Final System in Harford County. A special meeting of the State Roads Commission was held this Tuesday, June 1st. 1909, at the offices of the Commission, Union Trust Building, Baltimore, Md., at 10 o'clock A.M. Present: Governor Crothers, Chairman Tucker, Messrs. Remsen, Shoemaker, Kutton and Clark. The minutes of the last two meetings of the Commission were read and approved, May 24th and Ttay 27th, 1909. The Counsel to trie Commission read the following: "Upon motion of Dr. Clark, seconded by Governor Crothejs , the following preambles and Resolution were unanimously adopted: "Whereas at the meeting of the State Roads Commission held on the .15th day of April, 1909, Dr. Clark moved that in Harford County the Commission adopt as its final system for that County the following roads, so far as the funds will permit their being taken over, purchased or condemned and constructed and complete the improvement thereof in such manner as the Commission shall hereafter determine, in the order named. The Road known as the Old Bel Air Road from the Baltimore County line to the Harford Road, thence to Bel Air; the Road from Bel Air by way of Kalmia, Poole, Berkley, Glen Cove to Conowingo Bridge on the Susquehanna River, provided the County will build a bridge suitable in the Judgment of the Commission across Deer Creek.
