Governor Crothers moved that specifications and blue-prints "be prepared for the following counties, and that bids "be asked for in sections and of materials ae specified. Bids to be opened on Friday, June llth., 1909, at 12 o'clock, Noon. ALLEGANY COUNTY: from about five (5) miles east from Cumberland to the Six-Mile House, over the road knovm a the National Pike, to be divided into proposals as follows: (a) the first proposal of 2.4 miles, (b) the second proposal for the remaining 2.6 miles, (c) the third proposal for the entire five (5) miles, (d) also a proposal for one mile west fron Frostburg to the Garrett County line, over what is known as the National Pike, for the following material: 14 ft. stone macadam, as per the approved plans. GARRTVIT COUNTY- from about 5-55 miles frcir. the town limits of Oakland towards Thayerville, to te divided into three proposals, as follows: (a) the first proposal for 2.91 miles, (b) the second proposal for the remaining 2.64 miles, (c) and the third proposal for the whole 5.55 miles, for the following material: 14 ft. stone raacadam, as per the api roved plane. PRI1TCF G-FORGTR'S COUNTY: fron about 5.76 miles from Marlboro towards Porestville, to be divided into three (3) proposals, as follows: (a) the first proposal for about 2.84 miles, (b) the second proposal for the regaining 2.92 miles, and (c) the third proposal for the entire 5.76 miles, for the following materials: 14 ft. stone macadam and 14 ft. gravel macadam, as per the approved plans. HARFORD COUNTY: About 2.05 miles, running from St. Ignatius Church to Forest Hill, for the following material: 14 ft. stone macadam, as per the approved plans. The above motion of Governor Crothers was seconded by Mr. Shoemaker, and adopted. Mr. Shoemaker moved that the application of Theodore Cooko, to construct a drain on the Harford Pike, "be referred to the Counsel of this Commission, to prepare a proper form of contract, should the permission asked for be granted. Governor'Crothers seconded the motion, which was adopted. Dr. Clark moved that an advertisement for sealed proposals for the Counties of Allegany, Garrett, Prince George's and Harford Counties be inserted in the June number of the "Good Roads Magazine." The motion was seconded by Governor Crothere, and adopted.
