Wickes, 3rd. Communication from Llr. G. S. Karaill. Presentation of Bills. Bills. The regular bi-monthly meeting of the State Hoads Commission was held this Thursday, May 6th., 1909, at the offices of the Commission, 503 Union Trust Building, Baltimore, Maryland, at 10 o1clock A.M. Present: Governor Crothere, Chairman Tucker, Messrs. Remsen, Hutton, Shoemaker and Clark. The minutes of the last two meetings of the Commission were read, corrected and approved. Dr. Clark moved that the meetings of the Commission be open to the public. The motion v;as seconded by Hr. Hutton and adopted. The Chairman reported that in compliance with Section 32-B of Chapter 141 of the Acts of Assembly of 1908, a certified copy of a Map of the State, bearing the written approval of the Com-laiesion had been filed with the County Commissioners of each County. Dr. Clark moved that the recommendation of the Chief Engineer that Pere L. Wickes 3rd, be dischargedby the Commission, to take effect Tuesday night, May 4th.1909, be approved. The motion was seconded by l£r. Shoemaker, and adopted- The Chairman read a communication from Mr. Qilmor S. Hamill, of Oakland, Garret County, Maryland, regarding the roads in that section, and on motion of Dr. Remsen, seconded by Governor Cro-thers, the matter was refer-Ted to the Committee of Inspection to take Uj and consider on the occasion of their visit into that section. The motion was adopted. The Chairman presented a number of bills for supplies, printing and services of survey parties, and on motion of Dr. Clark, seconded by Kr. Mr. Shoemaker moved that the Engineer be instructed to prepare plans and specifications for five miles of road from Brooklyn Bridge to Blenburnie in Anne Arundel County and to report to the Commission at the earliest practicable date. The motion was seconded by Dr. Clark, and adopted.
