RoJA Page 57. BALTIMORE, Md., April 15, 1909. Thirty-second r.oeting. Present. Reading and Approval of iTinutea. Report of Committee for St. Gary's and Caroline Counties. Plans for •••'orceoter, Kent, Wicomico :- Talbot Counties. Purchase of "Blue-Printing Machine. Sending of Minutes to Counsel and Selection of additional draftsmen. Increase in compensation of draftsmen. The regular bi-cionthly meeting of the State Roads Commission was held this Thursday, April 113, 1909, at its offices, Union Trust Building, Baltimore, Maryland, at 9.30 oclock A.M. Present: Governor Crothere, Chairman Tucker, Messrs.Rem-een, Hutton, Clark and Shoemaker. The minu'.es of the previous meetinr of the CoTmr.ission were read and approved. Dr. Clark moved that the report of the Corunittee appointed to visit St. Mary's and Caroline Counties, together with the plans of the Chief "^ngineer from Station 215 to Stations 351 -f 64 in Caroline County on the road from Greensboro to Denton, and from Station 379 to 687 on the road from Denton to Jederalsburg, and in St. Mary's County on the road from 1'echanicsville to Leonardtown from Station 0 to Station 282, and on the road from 1'echanicsville to Leonardtown from Station 558 to Station 742 4-16, be approved. Dr. Remsen seconded the motion, which was adopted. Dr. Clark moved that plans for Y/orcester, Kent, Wicomico and Talbot Counties, vhie}« are now ready, be referred to the Cormittee, consisting of the Chairman, Messrs. Hutton and Shoemaker, and that said Coiraiiittee visit said Counties and report to the Coiiinission at a later meeting. Dr. Remsen seconded the motion, which was adopted. Dr. Remsen moved that the Chief ^ngineer "be authorized to purchase a standard make blue-printing machine, at a cost not to exceed $140.oo P.O.B.Philadelphia, and to install the same. The motion v/as seconded by Mr. Shoemaker, and adopted. Dr. Remsen moved that copies of the minutes of the meetings of the Commission be hereafter sent to the Counsel and the Engineer. Dr. Clark seconded the motion, which was adopted. Mr. Shoemaker moved that the Chairman and the Engineer be authorized to select additional draughtsmen, not to exceed ten (10) in number, provided suitable quarters can be secured in the University Building, 532 IT. Howard Street, Baltimore. The motion was seconded by Mr. Hutton, and adopted. Mr. Shoemaker moved that the increase in the compensation of Draughtsmen Vincent Win. Power, Jr. and F. R. S. Waters, as recommended by the Chief Engineer, (being $60. oo per month) to date from April l»t., 1909, be granted. The motion was seconded by Dr. Clark, and adopted.
