Dr. Clark moved that the matter of the lepal question involved in the mixing of stone v/ith tar producing a bitulithic or bituminous macadam, ae reported by the Chief "Engineer, be referred to the Counsel tc the Commission for his opinion ir. regard to the leral proposition. Governor Crothers seconded the motion, v/hich v/as adopted-
?.'r. Shoemaker moved that surveys be made on the T'arford Road from. ?7orth Avenue t Taylor Avenue.  Dr. Clark seconded the motion, v/hich v/as adopted.
Dr. Clark moved that surveys be made on the Bel Air Road from "orth. Avenue, in Baltimore City, to Gardenville, in Baltimore County. Governor Crothers seconded the motion, and it v/as adopted.
Dr. Clark moveu that surveys be made in Howard County fr m Sykes-ville to the Frederick Road.  The motion v/ais seconded by .'r. Shoemaker, ind adopted.
Mr. Shoemaker moved that surveys be made in Carroll County from Sykesville to Gamber.  Dr. Clark seconded the motion, and it was so ordered.
J/r. Hutton moved that surveys be made in \7ashinrton Count}' from Conococheague Bridge to Indian Spring .  The motion v/as seconded by Dr. Clark, and adopted.
Mr. Shoemaker moved that the Chief "^ngineer make up plans for the road in Cecil County, on the line from Oakv/ood to Karri sville, via Porter's Bridge and Richardsmere, about 5 miles.  Dr. Clark seconded the motion, v/hich v/as adopted-
Governor Crothers moved that a Committee, consisting of Chairman Tucker, I'.T. Hutton and J.'r. Shoemaker, be appointed, to visit St.Mary's and Caroline Counties, to look over the grades, &c., and report to the Comirission at its next meeting.   The motion v/as seconded by Dr. Clark, and adopted.
Governor Crothers moved that the Commission adjourn to meet Thursday, April 15, 1^09, at 9. SO o'clock A.I.;.  The motion v/as seconded by Kr. Hutt.n, and adopted.
