Page 49. Baltimore, Md., April 3, 1909. Thirtieth Westing. Present. Hearing "f Auditing Committee with special reference to their recommendati ons. Submission of name of suitable bookkeeper. Reading and Approval of Minutes. Presentation of bills which were authorized to be paid. Appointment of Committee to take up question of rates for current consumed at 532 N. Howard Street. Motion to take up report and recommendations of Auditing Committee at next meeting. liotion to have Chairman request proper official of Baltimore City to locate outlines of beds of Bel Air and Harford Turnpikes within City Limits. The regular bi-monthly meeting of the State Roads Commission, v/hich was postponed from April 1st. , 1909, was held this Saturday, April 3rd., 1909, at the offices of the Com-mieaion, 503 Union Trust Building, Baltimore, Maryland, at 11 o'clock A.M. Present: Governor Austin L. Crothers, "hairman John M. Tucker, Dr. Ira Remsen, Hon. S. U. Shoemaker, Hon. Francis C. Hutton and Dr. "filliani Bullock Clark. The reading of the minutes v/as postponed v/hile the Commission heard from the Auditing Committee with special reference to their recommendations. After hearing frorr Messrs Hoen, Thomas and Kuchler, Governor Crothers moved that the thanks of the Commission be tendered the Auditing Committee for their report and recommendations. Dr. Clark seconded the motion, v.'hich v/as unanimously adopted. If.r. Shoemaker moved that the Auditing Committee be requested to submit to the Commission the name of some suitable person v/hom they ./ uld recommend for the position of bookkeeper. Dr. Clark seconded the motion, a-id it v/as adopted. The reading of the minutes of the previous meeting of the Cori'ission was proceeded with, and approved as read. ' The Chairman presented certain bills for Survey Parties Salary and "Expenses and Draughtsmen's Salary, and on motion of l.'.r. Hutton, duly seconded, the bills were authorized to be paid. Mr. Shoemaker moved the appointment of a Committee, consisting of the Governor and the Chairman, to take up with the Consolidated Gaa & "Flectric Light Company, the question of rates for current consumed at the offices 532 North Howard Street, Baltimore. The motion was seconded by Mr. Hutton, and adopted. Dr. Clark moved that the report and recommendations of the Auditing Cotawittaa be taken up at the next meeting of the Commission. The motion was seconded by Governor Crother* and adopted. 1'r. Shoemaker moved that the Chairman request that the proper official of Baltimore City locate for this Commission the outlines of the beds of the Bel Air and Harford Turnpikes, within the City limits. Dr. Remsen seconded the motion and r it was adopted.
