Baltimore County tentative route Liberty Turnpike people to be reimbursed, if diiisatisf led- CITY ROUTES through Harford Road Bel Air Road Palis P.oad Reisterato-.vn Hoad Par,c Heights; Avenue, Old Liberty Road New Liberty Road Frederick Pike Tentative route in Howard County Tentative route in Carroll County miles. The Palls Road about 2 miles to Jl't. Washington. The Harford Turnpike to its intersection v;i th the Old Harford about 1.4 miles. The Philadelphia Road about one mile to the B. & 0. Railroad Crossing. Park Heights Avenue about one mile to Belvedere Avenue. And, if it can be had free of cost to the State, the Liberty Turnpike about one mile. And that the seven roads last above mentioned be extended through Baltimore County so far as the funds will permit and in the order named. The motion was seconded by Dr. Reinsen, and adopted. It was understood that if the Liberty Turnpike people were not satisfied with the one mile of road designated for improvement, the Chairman of this Commission was authorized to sec that they were reimbursed to the extent of the $5,000. subscribed by them for the Liberty Turnpike. Dr. Clark moved that the City Roads be tentatively located as follo-.vs: The Karford P.oad from North Avenue to the Baltimore County line; the Bel Air Road from North Avenue to the Baltimore County line; The York: Road from North Avenue to the Baltimore County line; The Palls Road from 34th Street to'the Baltimore County line; the Reisterstown Pike and Park Heights iVM'1 Avenue fron Pulton Avenue to the City limits; the Old Liberty Boad from ilorth Avenue and 10th Street to the City limits, on condition that it can be obtained free of cost to the State, and the New Liberty Road from the Reisterstown Pike to the Liberty Road; the Frederick Pike from Bentalou Street to the '.Vestern City limits. The motion was seconded by Governor Crothers, and upon a vote being taken was unanimously adopted. Dr. Clark moved that the tentative route in Howard County. be located from the Baltimore County line at "tfllicott City to tlje Carroll County line near Ridpt;ville, and from West Friendship to the Carroll County line at Sykesville; and from 1 ayfield towards Glenelg, so far as the funds v/ill permit, and provided the right of way can be secured gratis to the State. Dr. Rem-sen seconded the motion and it was adopted. Mr. Hutton moved that the tentative route in Carroll County be located from the Howard County line on the Baltimore K Frederick Turnpike to the Frederick County line through Ridge-ville; from the Howard County line at Sykesville, through Eldersburg, Bamber, Bird Hill, Small-wood, to the Fenby Pike, and the Fenby Pike to Westminster, in case the Pike can be secured without cost to the State; thence from Westminster towards Manchester; and from Westminster towards Middleburg, so far as (45) 1
