Frederick Turnpike Company $1,000 per mile for that portion of said turnpike lyinr in 13al-timore City, for all its rights, titles and interest therein; and to make a separate offer of $500 per mile for that portion of said turnpike lying in Baltimore County, for all its rights, titles and interest therein; and to make a separate offer of $500 per mile for that portion of said turnpike lying in Howard County, for all its rights, titles and interest therein; and to make a separate offer of $500. per mile for that portion of said turnpike lying in Carroll County, for all its rights, titles and interest therein; and tc make a separate offer of $750. per mile for that portion of said turnpike lying in Frederick County, for all its rirtfita, titles and ir.t 'rest therein; and to make a separate offer of $530 per mile for that portion of said turnpike lying in Washington County, for all its rights, titles and interest therein; and, Be it Further Resolved, That said Chairman he and he is hereby authorized to make the Boonsboro Turnpike Company an offer of , 500 per mile for that pike "between Boonsboro and Har-erstown, for all its riphts, titles and interest therein; and, Be it -'urther Resolved, That said Chairman be and he is hereby authorized to make an offer to the Hagerstown -c Conococheague Turnpike Company of $12,000 for the pike between Hagerstov/n and the ?7est side of the Conococheague C~eek Bridge, for all its rir^its, titles and interest therein. Governor Crothers seconded the above resolution, and upon a vote being taken, it wac unanimously adopted. At this hour (1.30 P.M.) the Commission took a Recess until the hour of 2.5O o'clock P.K. AFTER RECESS Baltimore County Roads tentatively located. At 2.30 P.M. the Comr.ission reconvened and proceeded to take up the Resolution offered "by Mr. Shoemaker regarding the roads to be selected in Baltimore County. After it had been decided by the Commission to take over the Baltimore & Frederick Turnpike, Mr. Shoemaker amended his motion to read as follows: "That the State Roads in Baltimore County "be tentatively located as follows: Beginning at the City limits: The Bel Air Road about 14 miles to the Harford County line. The Baltimore & Frederick Turnpike to the Howard County line. The York Turnpike about 4 miles to Towson. The Westport-Annapolis Road about 1-1/2 (44)
