The regular bi-monthly meeting of the State Roads Commission v;as held this Thursday, January 21, 1909, at its offices, Union Trust Building, Baltimore, 1'aryland, at 10 o'clock A.I.'. Present: Governor Austin T.. Crothers, Chairman John L'. Tucker, Dr. Ira Reirsen, ILr. Franis C. Hutton, Dr. Wm. Bullock Clark and I.'r. Samuel 1'. Shoemaker. The minutes of the previous special and regular meetings of the Commission were read and approved. The Chairman presented a number of bills, and on motion of Dr. Clark, seconded by I/r. Governoc Crothers seconded the motion and; it was adopted. • The Chairman stated that the Consolidated Gas Company wanted the meter in 532 North Howard Street, changed to the name of the State Roads Commission, and Dr. Clark moved that the Chairman be authorized to sign the contract with the Consolidated Has Company for the meter in the name of the Commission. The motion was seconded by Dr. Remsen and adopted. Mr. Shoemaker moved that surveys be made in Harford County from the Hickory Road towards Jarrettsville, and from Bel Air to Aberdeen. The motion \vas seconded by Mr. Hutton and adopted. Governor Crothers moved that four "Ideal" window ventilators be purchased and installed in the draughting rooms in the building 532 North Hwward Street, at a cost not to exceed $3.50 per (39)
