The Commission appointed Clayton 71. Butler, 0. L. McCabe and R. C. Price as Draughtsmen, at a salary of $50.oo per month each, Mr. Butler's salary to commence Thursday, December 31st. 1908, and the salaries of the other two to begin on Monday, January llth. 1909 or at such time as they may report for duty. Governor Crothers  seconded the motion and it was adopted.
Dr. Clark moved that the State Roads Commission meet in special session jointly with the State Geological & "Economic Survey Commission at the Johns Hopkins University, Monday, January 18th. 1909 at 11 o'clock a.m.  Governor Crothers seconded the motion and it was adopted.
Dr. Remsen moved that lir. J. C. Crothers' salary be increased from &50.00 per month, to ,;60.oo per month, dating from January 1st., 1909.  The motion v;as seconded by Mr. Shoemaker and adopted.
Governor Crothers moved that 1,'r. W. F. Lankford be notified that the Commission will allow his salary in full for the month of December, which includes the period of his illness, but that the rule of the Co mission is that this time during which he was not at work on account of sickness will be deducted from the annual holiday that may be allowed, if such holiday covers a period of time equal to the same.  Dr. Remsen seconded the motion, -'hich was adopted.
Dr. Clark moved that the roads for Baltimore City and Baltimore County to be discussed provisionally with the Annex Commission, be as follows:
From the old city limits along Edmondson avenue and
the Juhnnycake Road to Hollofield; From the old city limits along Park Heights Avenue
to Walker Avenue; From the old city limits along Falls Road to Mount
Washington; From the old city limits along the York Road to
Towson; From the old city limits along the Harford Road to
Parkville; From the old city limits along the Bel Air Road to
the Harford County line; From the city limits along the Philadelphia Read to
Back River Road; From the city limits along O'Donnell Street to the
German Hill Road;
Dr . Remsen seconded the above motion, and it was adopted.
Tentative route for
Harford County.
Dr. Remsen moved that the Harford County road be tentatively located as follows: Beginning at the Baltimore County line by.way of Bel Air, Hickory, Kalmia, Poole, Berkley and Glen Cove connecting with the Cecil County Road at Conowingo;  from Bel Air by way of Churchville and Carsins to Aberdeen; from the Hickory Road about 2 miles North of Bel Air by way of forest Hill, Graf-ton Shops, Coopstown, Jarrefttsville, as far as the funds will
