Page 34. Filing case and desk for Chf "Engineer, referred to Com.on Supplies. Adjournment. Dr. Remsen moved that the matter of filing case or cabinet and a desk asked for by the Chief ~?n#ineer be referred to the Committee on Supplies, who v.ill report back to the Cornrission at its next meeting. Dr. Clark seconded the motion and it v/as adopted. On motion of Governor Crothere, seconded by Dr. Rernsen, the Commission adjourned. Adjourned. ATTEST: Chairman. Baltimore, Md., December 17, 1908. Twenty-first Meeting. Present. Kinutes approved Auditing Committee recommend Balto. Audit Company to audit accounts. Payment of Bills authorized. White Oak Farmers' Club of Montgomery County H. Waldorf employed as Draughtsman at $60.oo per month. Typewriter, Stools, Chairs, Material for drawing tables purchased by Com. on Supplies. Payment authorized. Payment of material bill for map case authorized. A meeting of the ST. ate Roads C>. minissicn ".as held this Thursday, December 17, 1S08, at its offices, Union Trust Building, Baltimore, Maryland, bit 11 o'clock a.m. Present: Governor Austin L. Crothers, Chairman John M. Tucker, Mr. Francis C. Hutton, Dr. Ira Remaen, Mr. S. K. Shoemaker and Dr. Wra. Bullock: Clark. The minutes of the previous meeting of the Commisaion were corrected and approved- Governor Crothers stated taat Kesurs. Thomas and Hoen, the Auditing Co.Tjnittee, had called and recommended the Baltimore Audit Company, to audit the accounts of the C mmisaion, and Dr. Rensen moved that the Aud'i t Company be employed. Governor Crothsrs seconded the notion and it was adopted. The Chairman presented bills to the amount of :;'228-45, and Dr. Remsen moved that the bills be approved for payment. The motion was seconded by IIr. Hutton and adopted. A letter v/aa received from the ""hite Oak Earners1 Club of I.'ontp.om-ery County, and the Secretary was instructed to acknowledge the receipt of the communication and to say that the matter would be given consideration at a later meeting. Mr. Shoemaker moved the appointment of Mr. H. Waldorf as draughtsman, at a salary of $60.oo per month. Dr. Remsen seconded the motion and it was adopted. Dr. Clark reported that the Committee on Supplies had purchased a typewriter, stools, chairs, material for drawing tables, etc. , and Dr. Remsen moved that payment of these bills be authorized. Governor Crothers seconded the motion and it was adopted. Dr. Clark recommended the payment of a bill for material to be used in the construction of a map case at a cost of $38.50. Hovornor Crothers moved that the payment "be authorized. Dr. Remsen seconded the motion and it was adopted. Dr. Clark recommended the purchase of filing cases for the records (34)
