Pursuant to notice a meeting of the State Roads Commission was held at its offices, Union Trust Building, Baltimore, Maryland, this Monday, September 28, 1908, at 10.30 o'clock A.M. Present: Governor Austin L. Ccthers, Chairman John M Tucker, Dr. Ira Remsen, Mr. Francis C- Hutton and Dr. Wm. Bullock Clark. The minutes of the last meeting of the Commission were read and approved. Governor Crothers stated that whereas some doubt is felt as to the motion adopted "by this Commission at its last meeting ir. reference to the motion adopted by this Commission at its last meeting in reference to the survey of the road in Talbot County, and in order to remove any doubt regarding the same, he moved that the survey to be made in said Talbot County shall begin at the town of tfaston and run both ways on the main trunk line of the County road as heretofore located, from Wye Mills to Dover Bridge. The motion was seconded by Dr. Remsen and adopted. The Chairman presented to the Comtaission a number of "bills of expenses incurred by the survey parties, for board, lodging, team-hire, stakes and other items. The bills follow: Wm. H. Smith. The Chairman brought to the attention of the Cornmission the question of executing a lease with the Trustees of the Johns Hopkine University, and Governor Crothers moved that the Chairman be authorized to execute the lease upon being satisfied of its legal sufficiency after conferring with the Counsel to the Commission. Mr. Hut-ton seconded the motion, which was adopted. On motion of Governor Crothers, seconded by Mr Hutton, the Commission adjourned to meet Monday, October 5th., 1908, at 11 o'clock A.M. Chair
