fRoJA Chief Engineer granted 4 weeks leave of absence Motion to allow $500-towards expense of Chief Engineer in trip to Paris. (Lost) Adjournment. Page 21. ferring same, report to this Commission the time when said transfer is to be made, and shall further report when said party CBT persons so transferred again re-enter the services of this Comnisiiion. The motion was seconded by Mr. Shoemaker and adopted. Governor Crothers moved that the Chief Engineer be given leave of absence of four weeks to attend the International Hood Roads Conference in Paris. The motion was seconded by J'r Hutton and adopted. Mr Shoemaker moved if the Counsel to the Commission finds that the Commission has the right under the law to do so, that a sum not exceeding $500. be appropriated for the payment of Mr Crosby's expenses attending the International Good Roads Conference in Paris. The motion received no second and as accordingly lost. On motion of Governor Crothers, duly seconded, the Commission adjourned. Adjourned. Attest: Chai rman Baltimore, Md., September 16, 1908. Fifteenth Meeting. Present. Minutes Read. Resecinding motion as to action on roads in Dorchester, Wicomico, \7orcester & Somerset Cos To proceed with action on above roads. Permanent location of road in Wicomico Co. A meeting of the State Roads Coramisaion was held tfcia Wednesday, September 16, 1908, in pursuance of notice, at 10. 30 o'clock A.M., in Room 502, Union Trust Building, Baltimore, Md. Present; Governor Crotiiers, Chairman Tucker, Messrs. Shoemaker and Hutton. The minutes of the previous meeting of the Commission were read and approved. Mr. Hutton moved to rescind his motion made and passed at the last -reeting of the Commission, to the effect that action be deferred on the final location of State Roads in Dorchester, Wicornico, Worcester and Somerset Counties, and that the Commission do now proceed to discuss these four Counties with a view of permanently locating the roads to b» selected as State Roads in one or all of said Counties. The motion was seconded, and adopted. Mr. Hutton then moved tkat tfce location of the route for a State Road in Wicomico County be as follows: Beginning at Sharptown and running to Mardella Springs, to Salisbury (21)
