King for automobile in Montgomery Co. Mr. Shoemaker recommends payment of $100. to Mr. King Expenses of Commission for travel, etc. Adj ournment. Governor Crothers moved that the recommendations of the Chief Engineer as made to the Commission be incorporated in the minutes of the meeting and that a copy of the recommendations "be sent by the Secretary to each member of the Commission prior to the next meeting of the Commission. The Chief Engineer suggested that the Commission could start on St. Mary's and Calvert Counties whenever they saw fit so to do; that the Geological Survey Commission had two survey parties v,-hich v/ould be out of work shortly and that the Geological Survey Commission would be verj glad to do the \vork and simply charge the State Roads Commission what it v/ould cost them to do the work. Dr. Clark brought to the attention of the Commission the fact that Mr Jesse P. King of lit. Airy, had paid for the automobiles which took the Commission through Montgomery County, the sum of $100., and he thought rather than have any criticism on the Commission, the Comrission should reimburse Mr King the amount paid by him. Mr. Shoemaker moved that the total amount ($100) be offered to Mr. King by the Commission. Dr Clark, in seconding the Diction said that he was willing to let the matter go over until the next meeting of the Commission and was willing to abide by any decision the Commission made in the matter in his absence. The matter went over until the next meeting of the Commission. The Chairman produced an account of the expenses of the Commission for travel, board, etc. to date, and Mr. Shoemaker moved that the account as presented by the Chairman be accepted and approved and placed upon the minutes of the meeting.
