Charles of Annapolis held a tenancy in common in the Baltimore lands with his younger brother Daniel, but held exclusive managerial power until his brother reached majority in 1728. Daniel died young in 1734, and Charles thereafter was entrusted with management of all of Daniel's estate for the benefit of Daniel's heirs.
