iMaryland State Education That Is Multicultural Advisory Council
The Council coordinates efforts at the local school district and state levels to implement education that is multicultural programs and policies related to curriculum, instruction, student achievement, staff development, and instructional resources. Council members represent each of Man-land's 24 school districts, the Maryland State Department of Education, higher education, and statewide multicultural organizations.
