Index to plats recorded in (Plats from Land Records) in series C2277 and (Plat Book) in series C2399. One volume, 1875-1945, is arranged alphabetically by tract, subdivision, or name of owner and provides book and page references to land records and page references to plat book 1. No dates are given. The other two volumes, 1959-1993, are arranged alphabetically by tract, subdivision, condominium, or name of owner. Both provide dates, descriptions of the plats, and book and page references to plat books. The Archives will use these indexes to serve as the authority files for access to C2277, C2399, and (Subdivision Plats, TA) in series S1254. Index entries for 1945-1955 appear in (Plats on Microfilm, TA) in series S1546 and for 1930-1959 in the first twelve individual plat books in series C2399. The entries from the latter will be incorporated into C2400. Indexing beginning in 1993 is available through the Judicial Information System (JIS).
