Defense Wit nesses 7119 was blank and William Rosen's name wasn't there. Hiss had filled in the name of Cherner Motor Company; Cherner was the company taking care of the transfer. Hiss explained that a lawyer friend notarized his signature, as required by law. The lawyer was no longer living.
